40 years weaving textile solutions
40 years weaving textile solutions
Exit Fabrics’ story began in 1985 in Terrassa, a historic hub of the textile industry in Catalonia. We started as Silltex, specialists in office upholstery, with a clear idea: to create technical fabrics that combined durability, aesthetics, and functionality.
Over time, we adapted to new market needs. In 2006, with the arrival of the second family generation, we became Exit Solutions, expanding our focus into the contract and residential sectors. In 2016, we moved to a new facility — a major step that allowed us to increase capacity, modernise processes, and reinforce our commitment to 100% local production.
Today, we continue designing, developing and manufacturing all our fabrics in Terrassa, caring for every step of the process.
In 2019, we became Exit Fabrics: a new name, more in tune with the language of contemporary design, and a reaffirmation of our commitment to architecture, interior design and the contract furniture industry.
Fabrics built to last — and made to be customised
Customisation is one of our core values. At Exit Fabrics, we believe in adapting every proposal to the specific needs of each project — whether by developing custom colours, applying special finishes, or adjusting technical specifications.
For us, the ability to customise is key to offering textile solutions that are well-resolved, long-lasting, and capable of making each space stand out.
We also believe in timelessness. Our collections are designed to outlast trends: they’re versatile, with wide chromatic ranges that work across a variety of styles, materials, and environments. Today we offer over 70 collections and more than 1,200 colour references, ready to meet the demands of fast-paced industries.
Our environmental commitment
In recent years, we’ve stepped up our environmental commitment. We were pioneers in the use of recyclable polyolefin yarns — and today we also offer fabrics made from GRS-certified recycled polyester.
We’ve calculated and certified our carbon footprint, and we align our decisions with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We now run on 100% certified renewable energy and are on track to reach carbon neutrality before the end of the year. We also take part in verified carbon absorption and emission avoidance projects to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
Because we believe responsible design begins at the source.
A company on the move
At Exit Fabrics, our goal isn’t to be the biggest — it’s to remain a close, specialised and adaptable partner. Our upholstery fabrics can be found in contract furniture, hospitality, office and residential projects — offering technical and aesthetic solutions with a clear commitment to sustainability.
We export to more than 40 countries, work with professionals worldwide, and continue to champion local, responsible production.
Forty years on, we’re still weaving trust, colour and possibilities — for those who design the spaces of today and tomorrow.
