Flammability performance is dependent on foam used.
For upholstering fabrics intended for seating furniture (seats for cinemas, theatres, and auditoriums), Exit Fabrics suggest purchasing the product with foam already bonded to the fabric (see finishes). The thickness of the foam to be applied will range between 3 mm and 5 mm, depending on the project. This allows the fabric to be secured, providing greater stability and durability to the product. Leaving the upholstery loose is not recommended, as it may accelerate deterioration. This is the system used by all professionals of furniture intended for this sector to upholster these products. When the upholstery is done correctly, the fabric becomes a monobloc, remaining fixed and without movement.
Not spinThe flame-retardant properties of the yarns of the fabrics can be affected by external factors, such as the accumulation of dust, environmental dirt, dirt by use, soap residues, softeners and cleaning products in general. All of these factors can cause the loss of the product’s fireproofing over time.
Due to the velvet manufacturing process, there are dierences from one batch to another. Do not mix batches.
