In our textile factory we have a wide range of finishes that allow us to go one step further. We provide high quality in all our finishes. Aware that choosing a product or material well is key, at Exit Fabrics -expert fabric manufacturers in Spain- we advocate an integral process in which the finishes play a fundamental role. They are an element of the present and the future through our textile finishing techniques. This is supported by our experience of more than 35 years responding to all kinds of upholstery needs.
Therefore, as a textile factory we offer our companions of adventures the possibility to make different finishes on their textiles and vinyls, which significantly improve the final result obtained in the upholstered furniture, both at the level of durability and quality of finish, as an improvement in production times.
Types of fabrics that make a difference
At Exit Fabrics we work with all types of fabrics to find, together with you, the best solution in terms of upholstery fabrics. Fire-retardant fabrics, recycled fabrics or stain-resistant fabrics are just some of the cases that allow us to ensure that we are a textile factory that has all types of fabrics. Some of the best upholstery fabrics are:
- Fire-retardant fabrics: at Exit Fabrics we have a wide range of fire-retardant fabrics. This type of fabric prevents the spread of fire. The main characteristic of fire retardant fabrics is that fire resistance remains unchanged over time. A differential fact in this type of upholstery fabrics.
- Recycled fabrics: in our textile factory we offer recycled fabrics with the Seaqual Initiative classification, a global initiative that seeks to actively collaborate with the cleaning of our planet’s seas and oceans. In addition, we have a certificate that guarantees that our yarns and dyes meet the environmental standards accepted by the European Union. We are part of an international union of OEKO-TEX certified companies, a fact that allows us to demonstrate that the production of all types of fabrics does not include certain chemical substances that are harmful to the environment. They are recycled fabrics known as chemically safe.
- Stain-resistant fabrics: this is a type of fabric that is extremely easy to clean. Stain-resistant fabrics make it possible to maintain the initial appearance despite the passage of time.
Multiple variety of finishes
As a custom textile factory, we offer the possibility of delivering textiles with a wide range of finishes, thus searching for the one that best suits your needs. Each one with its advantages and considerations allow us to always offer the finish that fits with what you longed for. All executed through our textile finishing techniques. For example, in the case of finishes with foam thicknesses, 1.5 millimetres can be applied; 2.5; 3; 5; 6; 8 and 10, thus making it possible to adapt to any scenario
In addition, as fabric manufacturers in Spain, we make five-meter prototypes so that you can see the quality before proceeding with industrial manufacturing. All this in fabrics that can be flame retardant, non-flame retardant, stain resistant or recycled (with G.R.S. Certification) at your choice.
Going into detail, through our textile finishing techniques, at Exit Fabrics we have the following finishes:
- Fabric with foam and mesh: Since it allows the fabric to be stabilized and achieves a higher quality appearance, this finish makes it possible for the textiles to which it is applied to have a much higher durability. Another advantage is that the mesh and foam prevent the glue from transferring to the textile in case of gluing, while providing greater durability by being stabilized.
- Fabric with foam and acrochant: allows the finish to improve the visual appearance of the furniture. The acrochant can be attached to a “Velcro” to fix covers.
- Fabric with foam, barrier, and mesh: this type of finish, with a textile or carbon barrier, achieves the highest results in security measures and fire protection. For this reason, it is usually used for upholstering seats in rooms with high public attendance (auditoriums, theatres, or cinemas). This option will not give volume, but it will stabilize the fabric, which will help the cut and subsequent sewing.
- Fabric with foam, mesh, and ultrasound: At Exit Fabrics we make it possible to perform ultrasound finishes on foamed textiles. With permanent designs over time, which provide a personalized aspect of three-dimensionality and exclusivity, this system allows large and small quantities to be offered.
- Vinyl with foam, mesh, and sewn: in the case of vinyl, at Exit Fabrics we also make possible both ultrasound and sewn through this technique. With the possibility of gluing different thicknesses of foam, the vinyl has greater durability as it is stabilized with the foam and the mesh.
- Mesh fabric: with this finish, greater dimensional stability is achieved in the fabric in question.
- Fabric with resin: dimensionally stabilizes the textile and allows the fabric to increase its fire retardant properties through this permanent finish.
- Fabric with waterproof support: recommended for the Upholstered Furniture Industry for the Outdoor Sector, in order to protect the lower foams from the passage of water and humidity, this finish is an ideal waterproof support (PU) for textiles.
- Ribbed and stitched fabric: Just foam? No! With Exit Fabrics you also have the possibility of putting fringe and fabric, as well as carrying out specific sewing drawings.
- Fabric on two sides with foam and sewn: with the possibility of gluing different thicknesses of foam, this Exit Fabrics finish -oriented to the Contract or office sector- is used in furniture for chair backs, acoustic elements, or office dividers, among others. others.
- Digital printing: referenced in the hotel sector, the technique of digital printing increasingly has more room in other areas. This system allows the design of small quantities on fabric. Nowadays, the best results, as far as digital printing is concerned, are given on fabrics made of 100% polyester. However, it should be mentioned that it can be carried out on other compositions.

Once you have achieved the ideal finish that you longed for, it is logical that doubts may arise about how to preserve the state in which it is. Ideal for the home world, within our textile finishing technique, we offer different anti-stain finishes:
- EcoClean*: consists of a protective finish that allows you to clean the upholstery with water. This disruptive treatment, which protects the fabric and is environmentally friendly, makes it easy to clean stains just by using water. A posture of support for the world that joins our commitment to the planet with recycled fabrics and environmental care.
- Anti-stain treatment*: this system is based on applying a protective layer that rejects the penetration of dirt. This treatment blocks and prevents the passage of dirt, thus facilitating the cleaning of stains in a simple way.
